So I noticed the other day that my pinion seal and one of my axle seals are leaking so i think its time for me to step up an put some 4.56 gears in the truck.
I just want to make sure i have all the parts

front 4.56 gears
master install kit

rear 4.56 gears
master install kit
axle bearing (most likely do both)

thanks

Sounds like it as long as the master kit is just that. Does it include new axle seals as well? If you need preload and backlash specs, let me know.

Front Pinion TTR - 15-25 in.lbs.
Backlash - .005-.007"
TTTR - 30-50 in. lbs.

Rear pinion TTR - 15-35 in. lbs.
Backlash - .005-.008"
TTTR - Not specified

You can drive it with the leak but make sure you keep a close eye on the fluid level.

Marx, You'll need a total of 4 x New Clips up front. 2 for the insides of the axles and 2 more for the 1/2 shafts and also 2 new rubber o-rings to keep out the water /salt (rusty splines/no good) once when you pop-em back into place (1/2 shafts that is).

Insist on a double lipped pinion seals as well. Good Luck your gonna love em!

Always good to have a reason for a new mod. Make sure you do the break in cycles.
