Yes

Would love to hear the same. Both for the 4.7 and 5.7 I have both. Are pace setter decent if you put a high temperature paint on it. Do they install halfway easy on a 5.7

I installed Gibson stainless headers on my 4.7 about a month ago, and am very pleased with them. The install takes several hours, patience pays off.

The 4.7 motor has limited options - Gibson and JBA are the only brands I know of. You can find others on eBay, I would stay away from those. Gibson has a lifetime warranty, that's why I chose it over JBA.

There are many more option for the 5.7 motor - short headers to reuse the factory pipes or long tubes for more performance. It depends on how much $$ you want to spend. JBA and BBK make short headers for the Hemi, Kooks and American Racing will be top choices for a long tube setup. I'm not very familiar with PaceSetters, but I do know a lot of their headers are made from mild steel. For that investment, I prefer stainless.

Here are a few pics of the Gibson headers on my 4.7. If your interested, I can add more info about my install, a few things I learned along the way.97c04054966131bee34e078696ae5545.jpg1954c143c3021aa1583010906132089e.jpg

I have an 04 Ram 1500 with the 5.7L Hemi. I put the Pacesetter long tube headers on. They are the Stainless Steel with the ceramic coating. I've had them on for about 5 years and they still make the compliment to the Flowmaster mufflers. I have noticed that there is a small amount of surface rust on the very underside where the weather gets put on them from the front tires turning round and round and left and right. I'll probably just sand them down a little and put some high temp paint on them.

I put 3 coats of high temp header paint on mine, it did not hold up well to an Ohio winter. I wish I would have bought the ceramic coating, I'm probably gonna have to pull the headers and recoat them again. Major pain

I don't have a 4.7, but my advice would be to just spend the extra to get a ceramic coat, or stainless. I'm sure glad I did.

I was recently reminded that not all stainless steels are created equal. Gibson uses 409 which is not as corrosion resistant as 304. OBX headers which can be found on eBay are all made with 304 stainless at very competitive prices. If I were to purchase headers for my 4.7 again, I would buy OBX. Time will tell how the Gibsons stand up to a few Iowa winters.
