yep. Headers make it easier for your engine to push exhaust gases out of the cylinders

I picked up a set of Pace Setter long tube headers $190 shipped to me. Might be a while before I get them on.

Thats pretty good deal. I got mine for 260 or so but mine were just freshly ceramic coated.

Anyways do it sooner man youll love em i know i love the roar of my truck with em, id suggest getting a cutout as well just for those times ya wanna be obnoxious, which for me is all the time. I mess with the cops on base all the time, ill see em and close the cutout and just as they get to me open it and rev past em. Its hilarious. Cause they cant so **** about it since theres no inspections or smog on base

I know. But..... My Beast has a squeaky front end that might take a boat load of ching to fix. The bank account will decide when they get put on. Lol.

Camo Ram I don't play with the cops around here like that. Lol. They don't like me. :))

So when I get headers put on will it cause any engine trouble? Running lean or rich or things of that nature?

No, the PCM can make the needed adjustments, which brings up the need to have a AFR gauge when you start adding performance mods to keep an eye on everything.

To be on the safe side toss in a 180* tstat to help richen up the mix a tad if you do not tune for them. I agree with Greg if you are gonna start more performance stuff go ahead and save for a wideband to keep an eye on A/F

Ok. Idiot question. 180 tstat?? I do not plan a lot of mods. It is an 03. I understand they are not that good with tuners and such.

A cooler thermostat will keep down cylinder temps and richen the mix alill. Kinda a cheap saftey net.
