Hello. New user here not knowing if this is the correct method. please forgive me.

My Problem: No heat coming from my vehicle,

I plan on doing a heater core flush how ever i ran into a problem. all of the videos and diagrams i can find do not match my rams look,

my question: Are these two hoses ((pics will be included)) that run from the engine directly to the firewall, my heater core hoses? i do not want to mess with anything until i know 100% what i am dealing with.

4.7 liter engine.

If those are coming from the water pump then yes. It's hard to see pics.

here is an undershot of the above photos, i think that may be the water pump but i am not sure as i am not a mechanic how ever i do like to learn things about my vehicles and work on them myself.

if that is the water pump and those hoses DO lead directly to the heater core and i can undo them to begin cleaning. i will.

Yes, that's the water pump. I suggest to flush it right from the fire wall, just get a 10' piece of 5/8 heater hose cut it in half, pull off the two hoses on fire wall, attach 5/8 hoses to the two fittings, one to a bucket and other to your house water hose, flush it both ways. Make sure to poure some coolant (G-05) in the heater core after you reattach bottom hose when done. Then bleed the system by loosening the allen plug that's located on the drivers side top radiator hose, on engine block, just loosen it a few turns till you see bubbles, then tighten when bubbles are no longer, you may have to do that a few times to get all the air out. Good luck bud, keep us posted.

purchased 10 feet of 5/8 ID vinyl tubing and 5 gallons of AF fluid as well as a brand new set of 110pc sockets XD seeing as i needed some.

once i get another day off i will take care of the deed.

i assume i will have to remove the air filter since it looks to be blocking my access to the firewall.

Nice, yeah the air box is very simple to remove.
Did you buy g-05 coolant? You'll also need a couple gallons of distilled water to mix with coolant if you bought concentrate. No more than a 65% coolant ratio is recommended for these trucks. Also a 5/8 barbed 3/4 hose adapter, I just used some good ol duct tape, the water isn't running for long and barley any pressure anyway.
