Well, I have an 06 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi (I call her Bertha). There is a whinning noise as soon as I start it up and it gets louder when I accelerate. Bertha sounds more like an RC car than a truck [emoji14] I know a few things can be the cause of this noise. I am changing my oil tomorrow and I am 2 qts low and I know sometimes that can cause it, but I have been low before and it hasn't made the noise. I do my own repairs and will not send her to a shop so any help is greatly appreciated!!

I just a had whining noise and it was one of my idler pulleys or tensioner pulley, not sure which one cause I replaced them all along with my water pump and belt.
