I LOVE my Vararam Hemi Under Glass intake :)

If you have never seen a Vararam, here are some of my pics

Honestly if I wasn't concerned about flooding my truck with water with this ginormous hood and all the rain and flooding we get here in arkansas, I definately would have went with a vararam! Those seem so badass! But there's no way it would have worked for my truck.

Good pictures though!

infamous "*******" intake. i used 4"pvc. one street 90 from the tb two pieces of 24" pipe, 60 degree angle and a 4" adapter down to 3" spectre blue filter. it was loud as ****(no pun intended) till i started screwin with the exhaust. cb extreme pretty much drowns........ everything out lol. specially right before the tire

Over on DT there is a long thread about Vararam and a lot of the results from their technical test proving how good it is over other intakes. But basically the engine has to suck air through whatever you choose to run. The Vararam is piped to some high pressure points which increase inlet pressure so it has an advantage over the average setup.

I have the vararam setup on my truck and love it. i can feel a good difference around 35mph. plus it takes care of whats uncovered when the hemi hats removed. actually trying to find some orange intake tubes to match the air cleaner cover but havent had any luck. as far as intakes go your really getting what you pay for compared to a k&n and other comparable cai's plus it looks so damn good. I have had people pull into gas stations just to talk to me about it when checkin the oil. for 399.00 i think its very worth it.

you can use what you got so you didn't waste your money and just get a straight piece and a street 90 elbow. should fit together with what you have. gonna need a grommet and a half inch hole saw i think to put the IAT sensor in the poop pipe

close, its a BFI - same design, same ponzi scheme ********. Good luck getting one, your best bet would be to look for a used one on the forums.......the new ones (composite material vs the metal shown above) went through the same BS to get them to customers (ie, you pay now.......get it it in 3-6 months).

just like dan a.k.a. the assassin said, you wont see big gains from an intake. add a intake and exhaust you'll be able to tell a difference, but still will not be anything huge
