So I got in my truck today and turned the key twice to start it and it didn't do anything. It finally started the third time and shut right back off(was running Rich as hell like in the 10's) then i started it and held it at about 2,000 for a few seconds and it calmed down and ran fine on the street but at slow speeds it would go to super rich to super lean. I stopped to check oil and there was yellow gooey stuff on the oil cap. Dip stick oil looked good. But cap smelled like gas. I reloaded the superchips tune and it started up, idled, and revs fine. What is this damn thing doing haha

That stuff on your oil cap is just condensation that mixed with the oil. Mostly caused by short trips.

My truck will do quirky **** like from time to time but mine tend to just lean way out then slowly go back to normal. Wil feel like it's gonna stall when sitting at idle

some of the quirky stuff I've seen when it comes to too much fuel or too lean is sometimes cured by changing the MAP sensor (~$25 at autozone)

Hell I'll try it out but it's brand new cause I broke the old one 5,000 miles ago when I did the cam

Mine has been perfect till now. It may just be the battery I guess cause it didn't do anything the first two times I turned the key to start it. I'll clean the terminals tomorrow and see if that helps
