My rear end diff gave out on my truck an its been sitting for 3 months, finally will have enough cash to get it fixed. So I was recommended on a shop down here in Houston called 249 Drivetrain and the guy said he would recommend the Yukon dura grip and the Yukon 4.56. I know these gears would be awesome but I have 17s with toyo 275/60/17 which measure about 29 in height. My decision help is on the basis that I do a lot of highway driving about 70% this truck is a daily driver and a weekend warrior, would 4.10s work better or 4.56, would the 4.56 rev to high 65 or above.

Any suggestion or help I would appreciate

I run a 4:10 with 28" tires and turn 2150 at 65mph. I would not hesitate to run the 4:56 gear if you are racing some.

with the 3.92 I was running close to 2200 at 70, how much more would the 4.56 rev and if I were to do a 300 mile drive would they get to hot, that's what worries me

I would run 4.10s unless you plan on getting larger tires down the road.
While 4.56s would be fun in town, that's not a real tall tire for that much gear.

Will they get 'hot' no, warmer than lower gears, sure, but not troublesome.
I just think you'd be spinning more RPMS than you might like.

By my calcs:

3.90s at 70: 2050 RPM
4.10s at 70: 2155 RPM
4.56s at 70: 2397 RPM

2400 RPM is getting up there a ways at 70, at 80 MPH you'd be at 2739 RPM, that's TOOO high for my comfort.

Just for comparison, my wife's stock SUV turns higher rpm then my 4:10 /28" tire combo.

Ima go with the 4.10, i just remembered a friend of mine had 4.56 on his 17s n would complain of how high his gears would rev at highway speeds.

I just hope that's the the only thing is out in the rear end, for a while i had felt a decrease of acceleration like if the rear end was slippin with not enough power it struggled to even power slide like it used too, an one day it started vibrating around 65-70mph and after that when i would give it some gas from a stop the truck would make some popping/clacking noise from under between the transmission and driveshaft n then the rear end started clacking so i just parked it.
