New truck! suggestions on exhaust

I went out 2 days ago and got a 1500 2008 4.7 4x4.

Time to start over again....

Exhaust suggestions...

Haven't been hearing good things about flowmaster lately... or ever for that matter, but Im trying to decide between Magnaflow or Borla..

Which one in terms of durability and sound. I dont care about how loud it is in the cab, I just want a loud ass truck :flamingdevil:

If you're looking for loud then remove your resonators and get a Cherry Bomb Extreme

i have flowmasters on my truck the 40series with custom piping, and it sounds mean on the road. and idles mean as well.

Yeah I had that one on my other truck... It does sound good, but I've heard they have a tendency to rust out and can cause you to lose HP. Compared to a Magnaflow atleast

I am actually leaning toward a Cherry Bomb Extreme right now, and I am almost convinced. When you say a "race car" you mean its loud and deep? Cause I dont want to sound like a ricer. =)

I had a CB on my truck for a short time . Replaced it with a Magnaflow . I found the CB to be to loud and had to much cab drone and I also found I lost some bottom end power with it . Got everything I wanted out of my Magnaflow .

I still have the CB in the garage but its single in single out if you want it .

You have an American V8. It wont sound like a ricer unless you put that horrible fart can on her.

Yes race car as nascar not ricer. I woulds yanked it off if it sounded like a pissed off bumble bee. I hate that sound. Don't like the sound of froth rockets either

I have the Dynomax full line exhaust sytem on my Bee and it sounds really good

I got the Borla on my 5.7 charger, and it has a good rumble at idle and loud as hell at WOT. It's convinced me to get a Borla for my truck when I get it next month.

I've been listening to a LOT of sound clips on the Borla XR1 and that's probably what I'll end up goin with after I get a set of LT's
