I have a 2007 dodge ram 1500 5.7 i ve been getting a check engine light a nd the code is p0524 oil pressure too low i replaced the oil pressure switch and it came back the gauge is in the middle even a lil above the motor runs fine no noises the some told me that if you change the oil weight it will throw things off i put 5w30 high milage plus lucas the i recently had back surgery and it set for a month and a half and i had someone starting it leaving it run for a few minutes then shutting it down so i had the oil changed a few days ago and the tech said the oil was as thin as water and smelt like gas real bad and he put the cirrect weight oil in it and mopar filter which i was running a fram does anyone think this is a motor problem and i should be worried i have a four hour trip to make in a few days
