My 2003 Ram started throwing P 1793 pcode transmission range drive (TRD) link communication. What does this mean please help. Thanks

Are you running super chips? If so then may remove it and see if it continues.

SYMPTOM
P1793-TRD Link Communication Error
WHEN MONITORED
During torque managed shifts with Throttle angle above 54 degrees. This system is also tested whenever the vehicle is stopped and the engine speed is below 1000 rpm.
SET CONDITION
This code is set when the Transmission Control Module sends two subsequent Torque Reduction messages (pulses the TRD ckt to ground) to the Powertrain Control Module via the TRD link circuit and the TCM does not receive a confirmation from the PCM over the communication bus.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
RELATED DTC'S PRESENT
TORQUE MANAGEMENT REQUEST SENSE CIRCUIT OPEN
TORQUE MANAGEMENT REQUEST SENSE CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND
TORQUE MANAGEMENT REQUEST SENSE CIRCUIT SHORTED TO VOLTAGE
POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE
TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE
INTERMITTENT WIRING AND CONNECTORS
Thats from alldata which is direct from dodge. i can post the troubleshooting flow charts if it would help any. i would check for corroded wires at the pcm and tcm, may be as simple as that or a bad computer. any other codes besides the 1793?

Did you do the TMR mod? This is a side effect of disabling torque management.
