I have a power steering leak in my 02 Ram I can't figure out.

It seems to have been an issue for a while as the return hoses have multiple clamps (I've only I need the truck since mid June)

IMG_20170816_195247.jpg leak drip you can see at top

IMG_20170816_195247.jpgbetter pic hopefully

IMG_20170816_194856.jpg crazy amount of clamps on hoses already

Any ideas?

If you could get a degreaser on and around steering box you might find it.They make a dye you can put in the engine and it doesn't hurt anything and it will show where it's leaking from NAPA carries it. I bought some for a Honda I owned years back .This is a wild guess looks like a seal but really don't know until you clean up around the rack and steering box .If you can get the oil film off you might get a better idea where the leak is coming from. When my dad had a shop he told me a drop of oil can spread and look like it is all heck coming out because there is air moving around under the truck blowing things.Good luck and may God Bless.

It's hard to find for sure...I might have to just pay the hour labor at my shop and let them find it. I had them look at it already unofficially and they raid it was the return hoses but I don't see where they're leaking, just have a bunch if clamps on them.
