So I see alot of people asking about upgrades and if they really do anything for your truck and performance.
I did 3 0-60 runs.
1st run. Stock tune, stock intake. 10:16 sec
2nd run Diablo trinity with hemifever stock intake tune 9:29 sec
3rd run Diablo trinity with hemifever and Vararam hemi ram air intake. 8.78 sec

I know that these times are not the fastest, BUT.... This is a 2004 one ton dually and its winter time in chicago where they put more salt down then snow, so things arent the grippiest if thats even a word. In my mind if I can get a gas truck that is weighing almost 10k with fuel and tools to do 0-60 under 9 sec, im pretty happy.

All runs were done on the same day, within a 3 hour window.

Considering the size/weight of you truck, I think those are great times. Nice gains with Hemifever & Vararam, too!

Looks like vararam is almost equal to getting a tune.

All my times with mods an improvements were based on track slips. I could post it all out between mods but it would be lengthy lol.

For a big pig of a truck that's pretty good times for sure!

I run the Diablo Trinity, It has been a great programmer for me. It can literally be a plug and play, or you can have it tunned by hemifever, which is what I did. It does make a good performance difference. The programmer its self is easy to use, just follow the onscreen instructions. No reason to change shift points or any custom unless you really want to get crazy. Hemifever by far is worth the upgrade though.
