HAHAHAHAHA ^^^^^

Really though, here is what mine was putting down shortly after I got it:
Mods at this point in time: SC3815 91 tune, AFE Intake, Borla Catback, DMH Cutout & 4.56 gears

06-03-09_1711.jpg

First Run (Cutout closed):
image002.gif
266RWHP/284RWTQ

Best run (Cutout Open):
image001.gif
276rwhp/301rwtq

That was on a dynojet too so take off 5-6% on that number. Sucks huh?

I have yet to see where I am at now with the cam, headers, exhaust, tune and TC but it is MUCH MUCH faster now

Yep that was a third gear pull with the basic mods I had back then. Should be quite a different story now I would hope.

If you just have the basic mods, expect right about the same. The truck by default has around a 26-28% drive train loss from the engine to the wheels. A lot of people say its 20% or less but that just isnt true, numbers dont lie. If you can find someone with a mustang dyno use them over the dynojet but if you have to use the dynojet keep using the same one for new mods. The whole goal of a dyno shouldnt be for bragging about how much power you are putting down, it should be more of a test to see if the mods you are using are actually doing anything for you. You can go onto 3 different dynos at 3 different shops and all of them can be different by quite a large amount.

Dynojets generally read 5-6% (sometimes as much as 10-12%) higher numbers than what the mustang dynos do. The mustang dyno is more real world condition because they put a load on the rollers and while some dynojets can they are not nearly as good.

With the mods you have listed in your sig, you are probably around the 250-260rwhp mark.

RWHP/RWTQ numbers dont mean to much to me anymore, I look at the times that I am running and as long as they keep getting lower and lower I care less and less about what numbers its putting down

I have one of my 06 after I swapped the 5.7 into it.

It was a 2nd gear pull on the Dynojet a good 10-15 RWHP lower than a 3rd gear, but with 3.55 gears I would have been over 150 MPH in 3rd gear at the 6,500 rpm fuel shut-off. Running at 100 MPH in 2nd on the dyno. That and 85 lbs each stock 20s and P305/50/R20s sap the power a little too.

YouTube - Dodge Ram Hemi Dyno

Mods were

Stock MDS 2007 5.7
BBK built Mopar Performance cable operated throttle body
SCT/Superchips stacked 4.7 PCM tuned by me
Pacesetter Long Tubes
Dual 3" catless exhaust w/ Magnaflow X and flowmaster 40 series mufflers
Stock air box, Hemi hat, drop-in K&N
180*F thermostat
Stock 4.7 torque converter

285 RWHP/301 RWTQ

I need to get it on the dyno with the new mods, it runs MUCH quicker at the track.

going down the track is where you get results
