No other performance mods to edit the sound.

Will try to get the video up from the computer. Having trouble on the phone.

Video added now...

I really like the sound. Throaty on start up and acceleration with very little annoying drone at highway speeds.

JUst finished the install yesterday. K&N 57 series CAI and a MBRP cat back dual.
Looking at adding the magnaflow Y pipe and replacing the cats later this year and hell while Im at it may as well do the manifolds and throw some headers on her. but thats all for later.

Finally got around to making a clip of my setup.. True dual.. High flow cats to 2.5" piping into a x pipe to cherry bomb extreme mufflers then 2.5" piping from there to the 4" tips.

Sounds damn good! I've got a true dual setup as well, couldn't tell you what it is as I bought the truck with it already installed, haven't found any manufacturer marks yet. I'll get a video up soon, mine sounds pretty similar, although maybe not quite as throaty, bout time to upgrade!

Truck looks a lot like how I've set mine up, good lookin truck man.

Thanks man! Wish the truck would've been cleaned up for the video but in the middle of winter that wasn't happening lol but I do like the set up, best performing set up I've had on it and love how it sounds cause it's actually pretty mellow when cruising but nasty when ya jump on it! And yea you should post a sound clip of yours, I'd like to hear it!

Pypes X pipe with 2.5” duals, pypes straight through mufflers and headers. Quiet until you rip into it. Thinking about adding this setup to my 2006 5.7 Ram. Really like it.

This is a clip of a home built exhaust setup that I cobbled together a couple of weeks ago. I took a set of 5.7 HEMI long tubes from an SRT8 300 that I got in a trade and cut them up to make them fit my 2004 Ram 1500. I put a complete 2.5" exhaust behind the 3" collectors with an x-pipe I built and a pair of 2-chamber Flowmasters that I picked up at a garage sale a year ago. Runs and sounds pretty good.

New to this forum. I have been doing a lot of research on short tube headers for my 08 2500 4x4. Ive read that short tube headers cannot be installed on the 2500's because of clearance issues with extra brackets with the 4 wheel drive components. People have also said they CAN be installed. Anyone know for sure?
