Hey Guys! I am a hard nosed, avid Mopar Man. I have owned a '56 Coronet with the push button tranny, several 72-74 3/4 ton 2wd big blocks, 2 Durangos, and I now have a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab, Big Horn Edition, with the 5.7 Hemi.

I've noticed a few problems with it in the last 2 months. The Floorboard heat doesn't work. I've seen fixes for that, so I'm not too worried. My RPM gauge isn't functioning properly...no biggie. However, it's idles really rough, and on slow acceleration around 35 mph it is quite noticeably chugging.

I've changed the spark plugs. Most were under gapped, the rest were over gapped. It idles better, most of the time. But, that vibration as I accelerate through town is absolutely awful. It has no problems with hard acceleration, but not slowly speeding up.

Any ideas? I've run some fuel injector cleaner through. I just can't seem to get this thing to run right.

RonJon has the right idea. I have similar issues with chugging - I'll be cleaning my throttle body this weekend.
