Did the 1/3 1/3 1/3 Seafoam in Intake, Oil and Gas....
Changed the oil about 50 miles later.

Now.. Instead of running better. It runs WORSE.
it lags and it stumbles and stalls when idling.

What could be wrong?

It ran fine before... I was just doing maintenance.

It may be running a little rich from the sea foam you could try clear flood mode and see if that helps.

Youre supposed to put 1/3 in the oil, prior to oil change. 1/3 into the gas tank & 1/3 through the vaccum line that hooks to the brake booster. slowly drizzle it into the line, it sucks it in thru the intake and cleans out gunk.

its gotta be a sensor or the plugs. ill know tomorrow.
i guess this is fairly common after seafoaming...

I did all 16 plugs, the old ones were SHOT. I removed and cleaned the throttle body, and removed and cleaned the PCV valve. I havent run it yet, still putting it back together.

If the new plugs and clean PCV doesn't help... im gonna do the sensors.

Ill post back....

What's the best thing to use to clean up any sensors that may be gummed up after using seafoam?

After I ran seafoam through my intake, and got it running right again and the CEL went back off, the rpms now float up and down while steady throttle is applied at 30mph, then again at 45-50 at 1700-1800 rpms. It did not do this before

I ran seafoam once through my truck, ran like crap afterwards. Will never use that stuff again. It causes more trouble than it is worth.

I agree. Watched too many videos on YouTube of bad seafoam results. Not to mention that is is not recommended by the manufacturer to even think about using it.

Might have fouled up your spark plugs. lol

You poor boys and your newer engines. Old school V8's take it just fine. :D

With mine I just gave it some time and eventually it started running good again but it took a while.
