I am thinking of buying a 2004 ram 2500 with a seized engine. I am wondering if anyone or if it is possible to pull the engine and replace it with a 5.9(360). Will it bolt up to the tranny? I have a totaled Durango in my driveway with a bad tranny...If it's not possible, I'm not even going to buy the truck.

No, it's not a direct swap. You could make it work with some creativity and a lot of $ but you're better off staying within the same generation model years.
