I think I have a slight vacuum leak. I have a whistle only around 2000-2499 rpms. No higher or lower. Is there any way I can do a simple test myself with my air compressor at home and buying a few parts to rig myself a device and seeing where any air leaks are?

I use WD-40 or ether, needless to say you need to be a little careful. Usually a leak is worst when an engine is cold. But a small leak is not easy to find. Stethoscope can also be used to track a whistle. Good luck...
