Looking for the following:

intake lift
exhaust lift
intake duration
exhaust duration
degreed centreline
lobe centre angle

Anyone in the know? Googled and found some info (not all) but not specifically for the ram, I assume that the hemi cars have different cam specs than the trucks? Don't know if it matters but mine is a 2003.

Thanks.

That's what I figured, found some info for the chargers, magnums,... but their cam specs are probably different than the truck cam?

They should be close on lift and duration but possibly a wider LSA because of the power bands. Rotating asm and blocks are the same but could see there being a diff cam possibly. Maybe checking for a Dodge PN# would be the best. Run an 05 Hemi ram vin against a 05 Hemi Charger vin to see if the cams return the same PN.

Found some info:

5.7L Cam
There have been several cams used in
the 5.7L, depending on the year and
whether or not the engine has MDS.
The cam for the engines without
MDS went from a 53021730AB to ’AC
to ’BA and has been superseded to the
53022064AA.
The MDS cam went from a
53021731AB to ’AD to ’AE before it
was superseded to a 53022065AA that’s
now a 53022065AB.The cams with and
without MDS aren’t interchangeable
because there are different profiles on
the lobes for the cylinders with MDS
according to our cam supplier. The specs
call for 253 degrees of intake duration
and 253.7 degrees of exhaust duration at
.006˝ with 34 degrees of overlap. Lift at
the valve is 0.472˝ for the intake and
0.460˝ for the exhaust.

Another interesting article about the hemi, looks to be pretty old but still interesting.

Chris thanks for finding that last artical, was a good read. Really wish the 5.7 pistons were flat topped like the 6.1 ones are.
