It will be here Friday.

Andre set it up for a 2600 stall with my mods. It has the billet cover to reduce flex and slippage.

I'm just crazy enough to install it myself in my driveway. Plan on a how to video to follow.

Anybody running a TC with before and after times?

I wish I did a before and after time with mine, I know it made it good bit quicker though, felt better than it did after I did the 4.56's

Absolutely. They'll probably just be SC 0-60 times, but thy should give a baseline for changes. If I can avoid spining it!

With the TC you can almost bet on sprinning....

I know mine made more of an improvement than the gears did though, just cant recall the numbers it put down before and after (I think that this was the mod that broke me into the 5 sec 0-60 range though)

frog just do a 4x4 launch to stay consistent even though it is less fun but I definitely want to see some times as this could make or break my decision to purchase a converter. I also wanna know how it tows and if there is an increase in trans temp that can cause concern.

Go for it Frog, whats alill ATF+4 in the driveway. I had thought of doing mine in the driveway but my bro in law has a shop that we do most of my work in just have to wait awhile to get free time. Might end up doing a driveway swap if I get to jumpy. When you thinking of doing yours?

It's all in how it's setup. I talked with Andre at length about it. I wanted it streetable as a daily driver and I need it to be tow ready. We kept the torque multiplier a little lower (counter intuitive, but makes sense when you read up) and the stall down to 2600. Andre claims this torque converter will free up close to 50% of the drive train loss. That's huge! A lot of it is due to the billet cover. No flex = less heat = more power.

Probably after All Chrysler on the 9th. My truck is tall enough that I can sit up underneath it. Removing the tcase was a piece of cake when I installed the indexing ring so I think I can get away without a lift. I have a 20 x 30 tarp that I'll roll out to help contain the mess.

A trans jack is a must. I'm a skinny guy so I can't be muscling a trans around!

Well since we have around 25% drive train loss... 10% would be close to half.
