jet engine from Gov't surplus.. strap that beast to it and go!

Lower that beast first. Use a set of 2wd spindles good for 1" drop. A set of Groundforce drop coils, $241+shipping from them. Flip kit in the rear with some traction bars.

Stroker with twin turbo! lol

You need to talk to Matt at Moe's, he's got a 12 second truck, don't remember if it's a 4th or 3rd gen, I know he's got both.

sub 12s? as in 11s? you'll need quite the list. full bolt ons as in cold air intake, e-fan, underdrive pulley, longtube headers, free flowing mufflers or go with e-cutouts, 170 t-stat, torque converter, 4.56 with limited slip or tru trac, custom tune by either Jay Greene or Hemifever, A/F ratio gauge, cam, ported big valve heads. Add forced induction of your choice, supercharger, turbocharger, or nitrous.

It aint cheap... lol

Weight reduction...? This would be a go fast vehicle. No plan to road trip. More so a go out and mess with some car guys that would not expect a truck to do anything.

Weight reduction is a good way to get quicker without spending money. You can use all the weight reduction you can do in a QC 4x4. Remove all seats except driver's. Remove sub box if applicable, remove tailgate, remove spare and spare mount bracket, remove front sway bar. These are the most common when it comes to weight reduction.

Get fiberglass bed sides and front quarters, lose everything unnecessary, ie. passenger seat, center seat, etc. Move the battery to the bed for a little better weight distribution, maybe get a fuel cell to reduce overall fuel weight. All sorts of little things you could do to help. But as it was said before, it ain't going to be cheap.
