I have a 2006 ram 1500 mega cab, i would like to put a supercharger on it.
no one that i have talked to seems to know if its possible.
edelbrock doesnt make one for that year so idk.

i dont want one that looks like a turbo.
i like the one that are on older muscle cars.

It’s definitely possible. You talking something like a roots blower? I don’t think I’ve seen any of those on the 3rd gen hemis. On stock internals you can only run 6-8lbs of boost. And then soon you will probably need a built transmission.

I plan on doing a full build on my motor,
im hoping to get 500 600 hp then i want to slap a supercharger on top after.
ive been told to use a whipple but they dont make one for my truck.
i dont want to start a build if i cant get the supercharger.

Here's the problem, the front accessories on the '03-'08 front cover are in the way; you'd need a spacer bracket to move the A/C compressor and alternator out of the way, after that you're trying to make a kit work, most likely from a LX car, but the cars use a different length crank pulley so you'd either need a custom made blower pulley or you'd need to swap timing covers and all the accessories over to the LX car ones which involves notching the passenger side frame to clear the new alternator placement.

If you physically get it dealt with you will need to deal with the trans because the 545 will NOT handle a positive displacement blower's low rpm power. The 46rh swap is an easy one for you and will handle up to 700hp with minimal effort on your part.
