What IS the "hemi tick"? Seems like everone has it but no one is 100% on what it is. Is it like the chevy 6.0 piston slap?

My 07 has it when cold for a while and I run amsoil. Trying redline at the next interval, its only audible outside the cab and pretty quiet most of the time.

I've read about it, but haven't heard it yet in my '14. I keep starting up with my door open listening for it though….LOL

Mine went almost completely away with mobil 1 , 5w20 synthetic. Just such an odd noise

I've heard Redline oil will alleviate this. I will know for sure in about 2000 miles, when i switch it over.
