Taking the truck out to do some datalogging and am going to try to get an 1/8 run in if there is no traffic. Current conditions are 80 degrees with 64% humidity at an elevation of 292 feet above sea level. Last time I weighed the truck I think it was about 5800 or 5900 lbs with me in it. So, any guesses? I will post up later and let you know how it goes.

8.8 sorry if thats high im not familiar with 1/8 times

I really have no idea what is good or not. The only reference I have is the 1/8 list on another forum. There are no naturally aspirated qc 4x4 hemis below 9 on the list so if I can get below 9 I will be pretty stoked.

I am back and the results are in. She ran 8.96 in the 1/8th. The best part is that based on my subpar 0-60 time I think the truck still has a little more in her. It was about .2 off my best 0-60 tonight (trouble getting her to hook off the line) so if I could pull a better launch next time I think I could improve on the time. Still not bad for a first run. Hopefully a better launch and a couple more mods I got lined up will get me further into the 8's.

Nicely done. I ran 9.33 @ 81 mph at the track. Traction was a problem and I was also running sub 0-60 mph times so you I think you are doing good.

stupid question for a non racer...........

Your 1/4 time? It looks like you kept in it, or you wouldn't have hit the 1/4 in under 15 seconds, but the speed?

And, great time man!

Once I hit 80 I got off the gas and coasted, that is why the mph for the 1/4 is only 67. The road is too short to do a full 1/4 run.

gotcha, thats what I assumed, but I didn't think it would still go in 15 seconds. Guess at 80mph you are eating road fast. LOL

Yeah, once I hit the 1/8 mark I start running out of straight road fast. If not, I would try a 1/4 on it bc it is brand new pavement and super straight.
