I have an 07 1500 with 5.7 Hemi. I have installed an Air Raid intake and throttle body spacer. Dual exhaust with Flowmaster 40 series. Everthing else is stock. Not looking for so much performance that MPG. But will definately take it if I can achieve both. And plus I cant stand the MDS system on the truck. I am getting around 13.5 MPG around town and 17 MPG on highway, and this is taking it easy. Please help with and suggestions.

Never owned one but from everyone elses recommendations, I've heard it either superchips, or diablo's trinity.

You could do the Diablo intune, if you don't care about guages. :waytogo:

If you aren't wanting a custom tune, go with a Superchips 3865 or a Vivid. They both have a fuel economy tune, though turning off MDS seems counteractive of that. ;)

Ive got the Cortex and even with the MPG tune, you really dont see much of a difference...
Now, the power side (91 tune) thats a different story!

never seen ANY gains with the mileage tunes, on either of th e tuners (diablo/superchips) actually see worse mileage with them. Best mileage is in their performance 91 or 93 octane tunes. Truck runs better, gives you better mileage and more power. makes for a fun ride.

I agree. The mileage tunes rarely perform better than the actual performance tunes when it comes to fuel mileage or power gains.

You do have to wait a while to see any better mpg with the performance tunes, they are like crack, once you tune it the increase is too tempting to keep a light foot :). I actually put my 5.7 back to stock settings the other day, it was ****** awful :), got back from the store and retuned it to the performance 91 :), I don't think I will ever drive it with a stock tune again!!
