'06 5.7 1500. Parked for 2 weeks w/o starting. -20 here today. Tried to fire but didn't. Charged battery and tried a few times but still no luck. It acted like it tried to but nothing. It acted like a flooded carbureted engine. All info appreciated. Thank you

You could try some gas line anti-freeze....

I heard we didn't need to do that with the ethanol present in today's fuel. I'm going to do it but I thought it was a thing of the past. Thank you

^ You are probably correct with that, but it's worth a try?

Can you hear the pump run when you first turn the key on? Should run for an few seconds and shut off. Assuming it is cranking and not starting. Hold the accelerator pedal to the floor while cranking. This is the fuel shut off mode to clear flooding condition.

Put a can of isopropyl in at lunch. Placed two halogen lights under oil pan and put the battery charger on trickle, shut the hood. Returned home @ 1700 it fired right up. I don't know which of the three things did it or if it was a combination plus time to dry out. Thanks for the help Guys.
