In February of this year (2016) I bought a 2004 Ram 2500 4x4 Hemi. It is in excellent condition, and was a 1-owner truck. It has ~212,000 miles on it and runs great. What are the chances that it still has the original transmission in it (with no rebuild)? I was not able to get any service history on it.

I have a 2007 1500 4X4 running 4.7 Magnum Flex Fuel engine. It has 230 000 miles on it and I believe it still has to original transmission in place.
If you see no sign of the transmission being removed (bell housing bolts with signs of being removed ect) I see no reason why it would not be the original transmission.
