2017 uConnect 3.0 (RA1?) quirk...

The damn thing won't leave "shuffle" mode on for music on my USB stick between engine starts. Is this typical?

Haven't done anything with firmware yet; just picked the truck up yesterday. Advice on how to find firmware version and where to get newer would be appreciated, in case that's what I need.

Also, it only seems to "sense" about one text message out of every three or four and offer to read them to me. Again, is this typical?

Check the uConnect update site for a radio fw update. Might fix it.

And nope. No firmware available. It comes up with "you have the newest" immediately. Kinda disappointing that such an easy-to-trigger and major bug sneaked through QA.
