5.0 Radio ?

Since the Update/bug the other day when my Radio is off it shows the screen with the set station and the buttons for other reset buttons. Andrea Thanks for your reply ! Ill try and get a pic. But when you turn the radio off it show the screen like the radio is on and the touch features turn the radio back on as well.. This just happened after the 5.0 SIRIUS update! My truck is going in on Monday to have the back up camera installed, but was wondering is there a way I can reset it!

Maybe I'm wrong but, there is no 'off' option, the button on the left only mutes it. The only way to truly turn it off is to turn key off. Maybe there is some turn off trick but mine has never turned off when I press left knob, just mutes it

Also when the radio is shut off manually it will turn on by itself when starting truck.. I will post what I find out from dealer

On pages 7-8 in your Uconnect 5.0 manual that you can download from the Knowledge Center at www.mopar.com there is a diagram of your head unit (I've added an image below, hopefully you can see it). When you push the 'Screen Off' button, #7 in the diagram, does your screen turn off?

If you're talking about the part I circled in red, which is the only difference I can see between the two pictures, that is just the mute. Which is what you get when you push the volume knob. Like Andrea said, if you push the button just to the right on the volume knob (its a sidways triange-ish shape) that will turn the display off. Also, mine turns on every time I start my truck too.

As you found out the 5.0 is never truly off. You can turn the screen off and mute the audio, but it is always "on".
