Is there a setting that tells the nav system to avoid highways? My nav system is really ******* me off, when on the highway it constantly wants me to get off, if I do it takes me back roads. The traffic on the highway was not bad at all any of the times I used it so I know it wasn't avoiding traffic. I can't find any setting and am getting frustrated

I figured it out, once you put in where you want to go there are more "Options", you have to chose most economical route otherwise it will take you on the surface roads which is most likely the most direct route instead of the highways which is the quickest route, hope that all made sense..

It will pick shortest route unless you change settings. Not fastest

Yeah once I found where the settings were I figured that out, had to play with three or four settings to figure out what did what.
