An 8.4 inch touch screen is provided with Ram Uconnect 8.4A/RA3 radios/receivers. So yes such should fit. If entertaining aftermarket just be careful as properly connecting to both constant 12V source and all the speakers can be a bear and can result in frying the unit being installed if incorrect power connection is made.

If your truck did not come with one as I don't believe any of the 2012's did, you cannot add a factory 8.4 radio, the electrical architecture of the vehicle is different.
