I recently upgraded all my speakers a few days ago on my 2014 long horn witht he 8.4 non nav head unit. i would like to add an amp to provide additional power to them. i have polk db691 on the rear, infinity primus on the front and kickers for the dash. I am planning to add the kicker cx300 amp.

I would like to place the amp under the driver seat. Has anyone done this before? What parts are needed for the install to make it as easy as possible. Is there a plug and play option like a wiring harness adapter.

Thanks for any inputs

i dont know if they make an adapter for a 2014 but for me i got the best sound out of a rockford fosgate 3sixty.3 vs using a basic loc. however there is a member selling a audio control lc6i that might for for your install.

You can use speaker level on the CX amps so you dont really need any additional parts.

I went to best buy to get a quote. They said I need a two line out converter. have you tired the same amp without the loc? I'm a noon when it comes to wiring. I was quoted 450$ for everything (amp, amp wiring kits, 2 loc, speaker wire, rca and labor). I was also looking at the clarion amp that is half the size and similar power output as the CX kicker amp.
