Anti- theft code ? ??

I sold a radio that was installed in my truck from the factory , the buyer says it's asking for an anti theft code ?
I've heard of this , but I haven't delt with it .
Can someone please enlightened me on what I should do ?

Easy to get online or from dealer if they want to give it to you. Got mine from Nav repair .Com sent them the info had an e mail a short time later with the code.

I went to Nav repair . Not sure what to do there ... so far no help there . There was nowhere on the site that I could find that spoke of an anti theft code for sale of a radio ?

Wow I had no trouble at all when I did mine. There are other places that do it
Might want to check e Bay I heard there are people there that also do it. Also you can call Nav Repair directly and talk to them tomorrow if you still have no luck.

,.I just hate it for the poor guy I sold my radio to , he can't use it till he gets this 4 digit ant - theft code ? ?

I just purchased a 5.0 radio from a wrecker for my Ram and they sent along the original truck vin #. Went to my service manager at the dealership and gave him the vin # and he gave me the 4 digit anti theft code. I heard some dealers will charge for it but mine gave it to me no charge.
By the way now that I have the code, once you install the radio how do you enter the security code?

If so , I believe it will ask for the code ? ,
You may have to use the tune dial to set the code .
I've installed 2 diff RA2 S and the radio never asked me for a code ...

Just got finished installing the radio, turned it on and everything works. No code required. And it already sounds better than my stock 3.0 radio!
