Hey guys, I'm having some trouble with my auto start. A message pops up on my EVIC saying the hood is open when it's not. I talked to the local dealership and they said I could adjust the hood sensor if the contact isn't that great. I looked at it and there really isn't any way to adjust the tab for the sensor, it's in a awesome place to not have room to adjust it or remove it. Anyone else had this issue with a resolution?

Have you tried to cleaned the contacts on the sensor and also made sure the connector was tight and didn't have any damage?

Unhook the sensor wire and use a paper clip to short the 2 wires together or if only one wire short it to ground. then they it. that will tell you if its the sensor or not.
