dam they fixed the radio no new maps lol. but now we are going to have a he said she said scenario. chrysler claims the company that installed my fifth wheel drilled through the wiring harness the wire corroded that sends the line info now the phone calls and back and forth is on .:roflsquared:

Awesome news ! This is a simple fix , first disconnect the Neg terminal on the battery , open up the harness where the damaged wire is , cut it , strip it back on both sides of your cut past any corrosion , then slide single wire epoxy heat shink tubing over one end ...now apply a bit of Flux now twist the wires together tightly , apply a bit more Flux & solder together with Rosin Core solder ( very small amount ) let cool 5 seconds and slide the epoxy heat shrink tubing over your previously soldered joint and heat the tubing Untill the epoxy ooozzes out of both ends evenly ...done and likely will never corroded again

At least they found it, that's the hardest part. Fixing it (splice/solder) should be pretty easy for any decent tech

At least they found it, that's the hardest part. Fixing it (splice/solder) should be pretty easy for any decent tech
Agree 100% , finding a drilled hole on a harness that's 20' long is like a needle in a haystack

thanks for all the help my hitch installer took me in right away cut cleaned soldered tap sealed all good the cam lines are back.

thanks for all the help my hitch installer took me in right away cut cleaned soldered tap sealed all good the cam lines are back.
