I might brave the cold today and test fit it just gotta take that stupid cargo/floor thing out and yes sounds like ull have very solid electrical system im just re using my 1/0 wiring and 180amp anl fuse block way overkill but leaves room to upgradeSame here! Like 20*F out!
My box is coming today and I just ordered 4 gauge welding wire. Pure copper fine strand 25ft and made in the USA. Going to run a 100amp resettable circuit breaker as my fuse.
I got so many ****** reviews for cheap amp wiring kits using smaller than advertised wire, cheap fuse blocks etc I decided to just make my own. I'm going to test for my box today when it comes tho.
Sorry guys been a while since i updated just been busy with everything ontop of the weather being **** n all. But anyway i finally got around to test fitting my box and it fits like a glove couldnt have asked for better and yes lol the truck need a really good vaccuming soon as the weather gets nicerAny updates? Test fitted my box, it fit but the seat hit the back end when down. I did the 3/4" rear seat mod with some pine trim I had and it fits and the rear seat folds down. Pretty sweet. But now the box hits the seat frame and won't go down all the way it it clears the seat. Ran my 4 gauge power wire and stared working on the amp and 1 farid capacitor. Looking for a good ground with out drilling into the body or creating another rust point. Anybody know a spot in the pass side rear seat area besides the seat bracket bolts? I can't even try to imagine a 1/2" open wire terminal in 4 gauge and how annoying that will be. Also got my LOC wired in. All that's left is hooking the LOC to and finishing the amp ground wiring. Then waiting on the new shallow sub I ordered.
