Ok so here is usb plug that I bought and put in.
I was able to pop out the 12v plug no problem and zip tied the connector to a frame behind the bezel. Fits right in like it belongs.
I did have to change out my usb cable to use android auto though. For some reason, it seems to be very picky about usb cables. I'm pretty sure it is a bug on android auto side and not the head unit.
