They are 3 8's they are the alpine type s's pushed by a pdx-m12 I made internal chambers at .3 cubic feet per sub after I made the box I had our upholstery guy put leather on it. I went with 8's because of available space in a reg cab.

I was really skeptical about using eights because I have always ran 12's and Memphis brand at that! So this was my first with eights ands first with alpine, naturally I was really nervous about this set up. I am extremely happy with the sound, they get amazingly loud and actually have a very wide range, even hitting the lows very well. i used an audio control lc7i to hook my amp up to the factory radio. I do not believe I could have chose a better sound for my truck.

I have been thinking about it I I want to try and put the type r speakers in the doors and behind the seat then use the type s's for the dash as they don't make the r's in the size I need for the dash.
