Looking to replace my stock subwoofer with something a little beefier.
Which is the better way to hook an amplifier up to the stock stereo? The C2A-CHY or a line out converter?
The amp will run only the new subwoofer. The rest of the stereo will remain oem.

LOC will be fine. Use the PAC piece if you even have a thought about upgrading the rest at any point down the road.

For that application - the cheap $15 LOC from Best Buy would work fine.

LC2I would work also just a little overkill for your needs

Only reason I prefer the LC2i is I know it's going to work right, all the time, and not send distorted signals to the amp. Active vs passive I'll take active all day. Plus it includes a remote amp turn on so you're not needing to run remote turn on from switched power.

OP. Depending on the amp you get (name brand ones) the high level into the amp works great. And some of those have signal sensing turn on also.

I have a sony GS100 amp in my other car working this way its great. all i ran was a set of speaker wires into the amp.
