Console sub box conversion??

Thanks Jeremy & Butch!

It was definitely not very comfy to sit on at all, but it served it's purpose. It was really the only place to put a sub for under my backseat was a little crowded...

That's a sick setup. I kind of want to keep at least some foam so my daughter can ride there occasionally.

I think you'll like it. Especially down firing. Just something about the sound you get from letting the subwoofer load off of a surface.

yea a down firing console sub box is great. I had a hotbox in my 05. It sounded great with 1 10" in a sealed enclosure

I had a downward firing center console box in my '99 Ram Ex Cab. Single 10" Comp VR. Worked great! The little black box was in my '99 as well. Believe it or not, atleast in the older Ram's it was a rollover switch that locked the seat belts. I had it loose at first, if it wasn't sitting flat, the seat belts would lock up! Lesson learned. Likely the same 'technology' if I had to guess.
