I just installed a fox box with a P3 with no issues. You can check the specs as a guide...

Is the magnet hitting the bottom of the enclosure?? Make a spacer ring so the subwoofer is lifted out of the box a bit...1/2"-1"//?

A sundown 12" Sa will fit in a fox box. I don't know of its enough air but it will fit. At least it did for me.
I was having other issues and switched to a shallow sundown. I should have it done between getting home from Hawaii today and a weeklong West coast road trip starting Sunday

That looks so clean. I cannot wait for my Foxbox to ship. Its been a week and its still processing lol. I am gonna run all the wiring this friday but it would be nice if the box would have been here to! But I will wait for quality

SA12 fits perfectly and box size is within spec . They hit hard and sound so good!
