Suddenly both buttons stopped working. I was able to reprogram the one (non-rolling code) after clearing the system, but I can't get the rolling code one to take.

In both cases when I pressed the Homelink and Transmitter buttons, it did not say "Learning" on the EVIC. But like I said, it worked anyways on the non-rolling code one.

On the rolling code one I can't get it to learn. It says "Transmitting" as soon as I press the Homelink button.

If I don't get any tips here I will probably try clearing the system (again) and starting over again.

Thanks,

Hi TestPilot57,

I just wanted to make sure all of these steps were being followed for re-programming:

Reprogramming A Single HomeLink® Button
(Rolling Code)
To reprogram a channel that has been previously trained,
follow these steps:
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position.
(For vehicle’s equipped with Keyless Enter-N-Go™, place the ignition in the RUN position with the Engine ON.)
2. Push and hold the desired HomeLink® button until the indicator light begins to flash after 20 seconds. Do not release the button.
3. Without releasing the button proceed with “Programming A Rolling Code” step 2 and follow all remaining steps.

We do also have a HomeLink team you can call at 1-800-355-3515 to see if they can help troubleshoot with you.

For some reason I never got a notice that there was a reply.

I did initially try the "reprogram" instructions, and when that didn't work I cleared all of them and got the above results.

I ended up re-clearing them all and it worked fine.

Thx,

Mine have done the same thing and now they don't register anything in the EVIC? Not sure they even have power right now?
