I Just want to see this done if possible as long as we have someone with the right truck to figure it out. $ is definitely not required.
It is absolutely insane to me that so much of the wiring is in your truck except this one last segment to the radio. If I can get the pins in hand for both ends, I can put them on the cable I have in 10mins. Easy.

EDIT: Here are the female connector sockets we need to see about sourcing a vendor for that's not too $$...

Inline-Body/IP (foot Well) - "mopar pn's"
68316923AA - 20ga (1.5mm sockets)
or 68316925AA - 18ga

(there is probably a Tyco pn for the above female sockets that is cheaper if I can get someone with TechAuthority access (tech or parts clerk) to tell me what the Manufacturer PN is for the connector (Tyco or Yazaki. I hope it's not Yazaki).

Radio/C1 pins (Tyco/TE Connectivity Pn's)

638551-3 (0.64mm sockets) @ Mouser for $0.10 ea

Did some digging through the Yazaki YESC catalog and I think I may have identified the 43 pin "Inline-Body/IP" connector and it's sockets (awaiting confirmation, but fairly certain):

- Female Connector Housing (Polarity A), Yazaki PN: 7283-4190-30
- Female 1.5mm Sockets (22-20Awg), Yazaki PN: 7116-4100-02 (Au: -08) or 7116-4780-02 (Sn)
- Female 1.5mm Sockets (18-16Awg), Yazaki PN: 7116-4101-02 (Au: -08) or 7116-4781-02 (Sn)

Looking back over my Jeepguy Harness notes/schematic, 7116-4100-02 is the same pn as the i315 footwell connector for the 1500's.

Bad news is that this part is $23-$30 per pin from Mopar. I put out a quote request at a possible affordable vendor to see about getting 5-10 or so of them. We will see.

Also updated previous post and with the above (and post 10).
Post 912 and Up - Notes about DannyMk2's 2015 Ram 2500 missing camera wiring at "Inline-Body/IP" connector (vs i315).
Originally began around Post 694 (another good reference for verifying if you have existing wiring or not).

I received confirmation that the above PN's are the correct ones for the Inline-Body/IP connector (camera wiring) in DannyMK2's Ram 2500.

Now just need to find somewhere to get a few. If anyone knows a reasonable vendor let me know. Based on my initial look around, I should be able to get them for $0.09-0.16 ea depending on minimum order quantities. Waiting on replies to my quote requests.

Thanks.

i never ordered the kit since i wasnt sure i was going to be able to make this work or if i was just going to have the dealer do it. ill try and ohm out the wires sometime this week. ill gladly pay you to make the harness if you are able to do so.
Danny,
You still interested? I'm still working on it and I may have a reasonable supplier for the Yazaki contacts.

yes i am. keep me posted.
Note: If you are so inclined to check, it would be good to Ohm out/resistance check the 3 wires from pins 17, 18, & 19 of that connector back to the tailgate i550 connector (pins 3, 4, & 5) just to be sure (need a few feet of wire to extend one meter lead).

Inline-Body/IP (foot Well) - "mopar pn's"
68316923AA - 20ga 1.5mm sockets

Yazaki YESC catalog (Hybrid Connectors)
- Female 1.5mm Sockets (22-20Awg), Yazaki PN: 7116-4100-02 (Au: -08)

Radio/C1 pins (Tyco/TE Connectivity Pn's)
- 638551-3 (0.64mm sockets) @ Mouser for $0.10 ea

Let me know if those 3 wires Ohm out all the way back when you can (they should based on your previous posts). If they don't, this will a big waste of time.

Got the rest of the pins in for DannyMk2's footwell to radio camera harness today.

And on a related note, I found the post for LoveRacing1988 where he was missing the tailgate to cab section of harness. Wonder if he ever put in the official kit or not? (Edit: nope)

See post 535 for a refresher.

Well, I decided to tell my wife what to get me for Christmas, so I told her a couple different things. One of them was the setup to get the rear backup camera installed. Per this post I had her order 68197873AA thinking that it is all I needed ...

Did you put the back up camera in or did it come from the dealer with it I'm trying to see if I purchase one if the grid lines will turn with the steering wheel or if that is only a factory option

If you install it you can enable the active guide lines in the radio settings.

Not sure who your talking to Sir ?

I see your new to the forum ... you'll need to "quote " someone's post for them to know if your talking to them .

Your profile says 2015 model , you can install the oem back up cam kit yourself . Pretty easy install.

What radio do you have ( touchscreen or not ?)

Also, take a look at the links in post 10 in addition to the op.

Hey Grimm, I know I could read and try and figure out but is this a portion of the jeepguy harness (I used on my first swap). Are you on the trail of recreating that?

Yes it is essentially JeepGuy1980's harness. And yes I can re-create his harness completely now if needed. I posted a schematic and PNs for it previously.

Not to interupt your cleaning. Haha but does yours keep from having to tap the wire in bcm. Like the factory kit shows to get the grid lines? Main reason I liked jeepguys better (rip)

Yes, it's the exact same as his harnesses. Just to be clear, I'm not selling anything or plan to, I just have all the info and ability to do it now that I found a vendor for the pins.

I don't have enough cable currently to make one, but if you really want that setup, I can make one if you cover cost of parts. It's cheap fun for me.
