@scredneck,
To avoid confusion, please start a separate thread with your question.
I will go ahead say that I am fairly certain there is a separate Mopar camera kit you can buy for your 2009 that has everything and instructions for your truck.
For the 2013+ trucks in this thread, we have found that getting the parts piece by piece, ie from a friends tailgate, are more expensive than the kit. Primarily because some of the missing harnesses can't be bought except with the complete kit.
Adding the 2 missing lock wires all the way to the front of the truck will be a separate issue to figure out.

Pretty sure the locks are daisy chained from the drivers door first , the lock should be able to be hooked to one of the back doors lock assy with no issue , but again that should be a separate thread in 4th gen audio & electronics imo .
Looking fwd to the 09 back up thread !

I just realized that if someone wants to practice taking apart the same connector as the i550, they can use the tailgate removal kit plugs for practice. Should have come with every truck.

Tailgate Removal/Connector Sealing Kit:

Done.

If anyone has good, actual pictures of their connector with the wires they want to share feel free to post them up and I will update these.

I'm pretty sure within this thread ( 6+ months ago ) someone else had this issue , can't remember the fix though .

It may take some time , but I think you'll find your answer here .

Try looking @ Mpgrimm2 post #10 , lots of good info there .

Hope this helps !

@ Bigolayne,

It's clear you have power and the grid lines (+12v, Gnd, & Lin Bus CBC3 are ok). It's possible you have switched one of the 3 camera signal wires at one of the connectors (Camera Signal, Camera Return, & Camera Shield). Use the schematic in post 10 and pictures of each of the connectors linked in post 10 to verify.

If you don't have the wires switched somewhere (most likely), then you may have a loose connection, a bent pin in one of the connectors (don't forget to check the harnesses inside the tailgate. This is what happened to another member), or a bad camera.

A common area to get the 3 wires wrong would be the new camera kit's 'Body Harness A' connector (Pins A, D, & E) where it comes in under the footwell/steering wheel area and connects to the new kit's 'Radio Harness B' connector (See also post 280) as well as the pins 31,32, 33 at the back of the radio (post 26).

I've done some reading , seems a guy did have a similar issue as you , long story but ultimately like Mpgrimm2 said above , it's most likely a camrea video + - that is backwards .

Either @ the back of the radio C1 connector 31,32,33 the two video wires are swapped or @ the connector under the steering wheel that you populated.
Just make sure the three wires going towards the radio are connected in line with the same 3 colored wires on the other side of that connector .
Also make sure they have a good connection !

Hope this helps !

Here is the back of the radio
That looks correct (post 26) from what I can see...
31 - gry/blu Cam Signal
32 - gry/org Cam Rtn
33 - bare . . .Cam Shield

Now verify both sides of the new connector (post 280) under the dash...
A - gry/blu Cam Signal
D - gry/org Cam Rtn
E - bare . . .Cam Shield

Then at the i550 tailgate connector where you moved the lock wires into...
1 - gry/blu Cam Signal
4 - gry/org Cam Rtn
5 - bare . . .Cam Shield

Don't forget to disconnect the connectors and verify that none of the pins are bent.

Will do and thank you
@bigolayne,
I see in your signature you have a Lockpik Air V2 (front & back cameras), do you have this hooked up in between the radio and Backup camera? It may be interfering/swapping the signal somehow but I'm not familiar with it.
