Interfacing a trailer backup Cam to a RAM

Hello,

Have a 2016 RAM 2500 Laramie Longhorn, 4x4, crew cab. Wife and I were looking at Travel trailers and where told that on some newer trucks the backup camera on the travel trailer could be interfaced with the backup camera on the truck so as to display on the manufactures screen. Has anyone heard of this or know if its possible with a 2016 RAM?

I have done it with mine. You need to use an aftermarket interface to add the extra camera imput - take a look at PAC or the lockpick... I've had both and prefer PAC. Very easy install and it is so nice having a camera at the back of the trailer!

Check out M2mods a vendor here ., Or send Mpgrimm2 a PM. . I believe M2mods has a harness that you can hook up an additional camera up to your TT and it will display as normal on the OEM radio while in Reverse.
