I read in a thread somewhere that someone had upgraded to the new IOS or gotten an iphone 5 and the U-Connect wasn't working any longer. I've been waiting to do the upgrade because I like my u-connect too much to loose use of it.

The question i have for the forum is...

If you're using the newest IOS can you connect to U-Connect or is that still an issue?

The answer is yes. I am running iOS 6 and have no problems with UConnect. You may have to re-establish connection with your bluetooth and your radio but it will work.

I had two iPhone 5s in my truck Saturday night on a road trip, and both of them connected to uconnect with ease.

Thanks guys I appreciate all the responses. I've had trouble with upgrades throwing off the Bluetooth before with a Garmin GPS I have. I didn't want that to happen again. Apple doesn't let you downgrade software anymore.

What do you mean by iPod control? From what ive seen it does work with my radio. As I basically don't touch my phone once in the truck.

I plug mine into the USB jack in the glove box and i get errors and and wont work. It happened ever since iOS4 with my 3g, still wouldn't work with the iPhone4 on iOS4,5 and 6 and now doesn't work with my iPhone5 with iOS6. Dealer says there's no update for the RBZ radio

Yeah I also connect with Bluetooth and my radio controls my iPhone Music player as well. The only thing is its really slow. I'll hit the right arrow to advance a song and it takes a couple of seconds. Kinda seems like its not working. I've never used the USB connection. I wonder if it will play my Microsoft Zune. Hmmm I'll have to try it. 30 more gigs of music. Nice!
