Does anyone know of a way (or if possible) to boost the signal strenght on the OEM key fobs? It seems that my lock/unlock doesn't work as far as I think it should. I haven't measured it, but the remost start (DBALL) would work better if I could start it further away.

This might sound stupid but put the FOB under your chin with it pointing upright... It will give you more range..

I had 14 people outside the office last week doing this because they thought I was lying.. I made them believers :D

For some reason it really works

Agreed completely, I locked my Ram from about 15 houses away before and I was amazed how much difference it really made.

I've heard that helps, something to do with the shape of your skull makes it act like a satellite dish. Mine gets terrible range as well, and it's distance isn't consistent either, it fluctuates between ****** and ****tier

If I remember right, the owners manual says the remote start signal has a farther range than the power lock signal ???

The RKE system allows you to lock or unlock the doors
and activate the Panic Alarm from distances up to
approximately 66 ft

REMOTE STARTING SYSTEM — IF EQUIPPED
This system uses the Remote Keyless Entry
(RKE) transmitter to start the engine conveniently
from outside the vehicle while still
maintaining security. The system has a range of
approximately 300 ft (91 m).

Well, I guess I'll give that a try when no one is looking. Ha-Ha! My truck didn't come with the remote start stock, it is the DB-All system that you have to press the lock button 3 times to activate the sucker. Thanks for the tip!

I didn't feel like walking down my block, but I tried my key fob out of range with it under my chin (looking ridiculous) and it WORKED! It's weird, so I'll do it when no one is looking or faking a chin scratch. haha. Thanks again, guys.
