Media in sounds way better than SXM with stock Alpine

This is the nature of the beast when streaming digital media as it is broken down into as small of data packets as possible. USB or cell phone they don't have to be as small.

When I listen to SXM I feel for 500 w the Sys does not sound that good Then when I put my USB in there it sounds pretty good. I can actually feel the sub. Only thing I am in constant search of new angry young man music via SXM
SXM does not broadcast in as high a resolution as most media in sources.
I listen to SXM now and then but the reception can be so bad in areas that I drive (mountains and canyons) that I use a high resolution media player (Astell & Kern AK100) and plug that into the 3.5mm RCA input. Great tunes!

in my area i can also get HD radio and SXM sounds like crap compared to that also. the only reason i keep SXM is i only pay 25 for 6mo of service
