Does anyone know the technical name for the connector harness plug that is used for the footwell light on the front driver and passanger sides?

I would like to buy a couple of compatible male plugs to attach another light to it without cutting the existing harness or plug. Thanks.

It's called Lamp footwell Right / Left.

I know that is no help to you but there is a part number that might help you.
Thanks man, but i need some verbiage on what its called, i thought it was a jst 2 pin but it isnt.
Looking at buying two male plugs to attach one end to led light and the male plug side to the existing female plug on the truck.
Not a subscriber of tech authority so cant see it either way.

So you gonna tell us what you are doing or keep us in suspense? Just adding more light?

No suspense from me , im replacing the two front led footwell lights with a pair OPT7 cob light bars.

I tested these earlier pretty bright and dont get too hot. bb2e2fa8e31d78cd79339402342900bc.jpge85a5fba685ae0096f8423221f6cadcd.jpg

I ordered mine from the harness connection and it was just a matter of soldering my footwell lights on and it was lights on

Strange it actually gets hot when connected to truck. But didnt get hot when connected to my bench 12v 380w 30A DC PSU.

Either way, got inpatient and cut off the factory stock plug on driver side then realized I could merely push the bare wires ( pre soldered) into the back of the truck wiring plug . So did that with passenger side. Both seem to work ok, floorpan is like a football pitch now in terms of brightness. ( not sure I like it - perhaps good for ******* shots of ladies in that seat JoKe ) LOL.

Im sure these cob bars can be used in other areas creatively, like I mentioned earlier. Maybe create an tailgate LED light bar with a few of these?
So far I have only seen the 17cm and 20cm ones at approx 500 lm output. Shame as I would not mind doing a DRL type bar on the quad headlights, example, one long one on top, smaller one on the grill side third one in the bottom of the quad headlight, thus emulating something similar to the 2016 Challenger DRL.

Contemplating using two of these in the spyders when I split them up sometime soon. I was thinking place the two cobs over the existing multi LED dots that are currently on the spyders. But perhaps that might be overkill with the angel eyes also.

I was hoping you'd make a tailgate led lightbar out of a few of these as compared to the multi led one currently available ?[emoji106]

Sorry mate, you are the test pilot around these parts. At least for the time being. Too many halfway done projects around my house to get deep into prototyping. Still wrapping up my audio build, steering wheel controls and lowering springs.

I did have a crazy idea to get newer charger fog lights and stuff them in the lower bumper corners (where people do the light bars). I need to measure things before dropping $300. Has similar corners I think.
